Victoria Gelman

Victoria Gelman was born in Tiberias, Israel.
She plays the violin since the age of 5, her teachers were prof. Irina Etigon, Mila Feldman and Haim Taub.
after she finished her Bachelor with Prof. Hagai Shaham at the Buchman-Metha music academy, she continued her education in the program 'Certificate of performance' with Julian Rachlin in MUK wien, and is currently studying her Masters degree with Prof. Mark Gothoni in Universitat Der Kunste- Berlin.
Victoria is supported by the America - Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship award since 2005-2019. She is a prize winner in various international competitions, including the violinwettbewerb der Ibolyka- Gyarfas -stiftung 2019, the International Anton Rubinstein Competition 2020, the International contest for young musicians in Lithuania, and
the First Prize winner of both "Maestro" Israel National Competition for Young Musicians in 2008\2013
and The Clairmont competition in 2018.
Victoria was invited to perform in the Paris Municipality Hall ( 2006 ) and in Kremlin, Moscow ( 2008 ), in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, England, Latvia and
Italy.
She performed with "Meitarei ha Galil" Orchestra and Raanana Symphonnet under the conducting of Omer Welber and Gil Shohat, with Buchmann-Mehta orchestra under Eyal Ein-Habar and in the Israeli Philharmonic hall with the Bmsom Orchestra under the conductor Yoel Levi.
Victoria performed in some Israeli TV & Radio programs and she won the young artists competition of "Kol ha-Musica" Israel Broadcast Authority at December 2012.
Victoria used to play for few years on a violin loaned from American – Israel Cultural Fonundation, and Now plays on a French violin- Granjon And with a bow, donated by WIZO.
